Father Alar, I do not usually talk about some of the things I have seen, but, before I retired from the world's largest walled prison, a prisoner named Stan, plucked both of his eyes out for taking the bible literally like you said. Upon reaching his cell, it was a scene that I cannot forget. There was a great deal of blood and both of his eyes were indeed laying on the floor. When we opened his door for medical personnel to administer treatment, the Stan attempted to push past us to jump off the gallery, which is about 30 feet high. Until recently, I had a great deal of difficulty reading that passage because of what Stan did. I still pray for him to this day. Please Father, say a prayer or two for him.

Hello Fr Chris. I wanted to tell you I have an original painting of Divine Mercy that Fr Seraphim used to carry around that was touched to the original in Poland. He gave it to me when I was 16yrs old; it’s one of my treasured paintings. I am 60 now. I was visiting at a Fransiscan monastery where a good family friend was the superior and Fr Seraphim was giving a talk on Divine Mercy. Fr S and I talked about my desire to do God’s will and possibly become a priest. God bless your work Fr Chris, you inspire me to be a better priest. Fr Rick

So timely this talk as always, I've been paralyzed by depression and anxiety the last month even to the point of withdrawing from God, I've made mass and everytime it's been like rays of the sun within the darkness of the valley. I'm coming out the end of it now and have renewed conviction of what the Lord is calling me to.
