Показать описание
This is an ultra-short video that shows how easy it is to install a 1Ch Inching WiFi switch in a Centurion D5 Evo gate motor.

Should you wish to install one of these switches, I have provided the steps below and in the video.

NOTE: Any and all attempts to follow the steps as depicted in the video and below are done at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for any damage that my result as a consequence. If unsure, please consult a qualified person for assistance.

1) Disconnect 220v and 12v battery to the motor to prevent short circuits ...or electrocuting yourself
2) Connect the WiFi switch's 12v- and 12v+ terminals to the corresponding terminals on the Gate Motor
3) Connect the WiFi switch's COM terminal to the corresponding terminal on the Gate Motor
4) Connect the WiFi switch's N/O terminal to the TRG terminal on the Gate Motor (on some motors, e.g. ET, the terminal is marked Bt for Button Trigger.)
5) Re-connect the battery and 220V.

Pair the WiFi switch to the router.

6) If you don't have the eWeLink app installed on your phone yet, now is the time to do so. Look for the video dealing with this if you need help.
7) Ensure that Location Services is activated on the phone.
8) On the switch, press and hold the "Match" button for 7 seconds (until the LED starts flashing), The Match button is the one closest to the centre or inside of the circuit board.
9) While the LED is flashing on the switch, click the "+" sign on the eWelink App, select Quick Pairing, select the correct WiFi SSID and enter the password... CORRECTLY.
10) once the switch is found and paired, change the name to a more user friendly name.

11) BEFORE TRYING TO OPEN GATE, change the setting to INCHING mode, which basically means that when you press the button, the switch will only switch on for a second and then off again, thereby simulating a button press.
a. In eWeLink press on the switch icon, to open the menu (not the on/off button)
b. Click on the settings icon in the top left corner to open the settings screen
i. Click on “Inching”
ii. Select 1 second as the duration
iii. Save

Currently the switch used in this video is avaialble here:

If you are interested in other options, e.g. additional sensor or a switch for the Tuya / Smart Life app, please use this link:

Hi. I’d like to connect one of these switches or similar to my roller shutter door. It has an Econo control box with “up”, “stop”, “down” buttons. How can I mod a switch to work with this door?

How did you configure Google Home/Assistant to use the commands "Open the Gate" ? I can only get it to work when I say "Turn on the Gate" which doesn't make sense lol. I tried the Google Home "Shortcut Settings", "Routines" added a command/starter and then an action "Gate=Turn on" but still can't get it working

Hi, I have a Centurion D5 smart gate motor. I have connected everything but it only activates the pedestrian function of the gate(only opening the gate about 1 meter). Any advice to fix this so that the gate can fully open?

Awesome guide 👍 Though, I have one question. If i have the sensors on the gate to prevent it from closing on a vehicle, would it still work if i were to use this sonoff switch?
So if i were to say "Close the gate" and a car was in the way, would it stop the gate or still close it?

Do you have a video on how to connect the light that turns on with the gate?

Brilliant video. Works perfectly. Any suggestions on how to get the sonoff switch to recognise that the gate has been opened with the original remote? I have setup my boundary lights to turn on automatically (also running a sonoff switch) when I open the gate. This works only when opening the gate via the app though. Not when you open the gate using the original remote. Any suggestions on how to get this working for both methods of opening the gate?
