1: Megalodon

Megalodon ( Carcharocles Megalodon ) is an extinct species of megatooth shark that lived 23 - 3.6 million years ago. The word Megalodon is a combination of Greek words that translates to “Giant Tooth”. Megalodon is considered the largest shark and fish to have ever lived. It was possibly almost twice the size of the largest great white shark on record, and roughly the same length as a double-decker bus.

Titanoboa is a giant snake the lived during the Paleocene era. It was discovered in the early 2000s by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. The snake was found in Colombia by an International team of scientists. The thickest part of its body would have been nearly as high as a man’s waist. Titanoboa is believed to have been mostly pescatarian, with lungfish likely being a staples in its diet.

Arthropleura is a genus of millipedes that lived in Europe and North America 345 - 290 million years ago. They are believed to be the largest known arthropods, a phylum of segmented invertebrates that includes spiders, lobsters, and insects Arthropleura had a long, narrow body made up of segments, and its back was covered in hard plates. The word Arthropleura is Greek for “rib joint”

6: Mosasaurus

Mosasaurus is an extinct group of aquatic reptiles that lived from 82 - 66 million years ago. They were not sea dinosaurs, but a separate group of reptiles, more closely related to modern snakes and lizards. Mosasaurus were large, scaled reptiles with long tails and paddle-like limbs. They used their massive jaws and sharp teeth to eat turtles, birds, fish, and other Mosasaurs

Saber tooth tigers actually lived during the Neolithic era, or Stone Age. They battled against hominids ( early modern humans. ) They went extinct about. 55, 000 years ago. Also all of them are pictures. 👍
