It's been one hell of a ride, hasn't it?

I started grinding Ultimatum towards the start of this year, within the first week of January. I had planned to quickly beat it so I could have the entire top 3 verified, as I assumed that this was around Funtime Gala Very Hard Mode's difficulty. I have never been so embarrassingly wrong about a mode's difficulty in my life.

This mode has put me through a lot. I've constantly been stressing over it, dreading the fact that I need to do it, everything of the sorts. Whenever I started getting far, I the nerves I felt during runs was far worse than anything I had ever gotten close to feeling with other modes.

My last PB before beating it, 5:47.8, I mentioned in the description of the upload on my 2nd channel that I had been put through physical pain when I died. My hands and arms both locked up and I couldn't move them, as did my legs to a lesser extent. It was painful and worrying. The same thing happened when I beat the mode (evident by me saying "My hands locked up again!" during my reaction). I have never felt this before, and I hope to never feel this again.

Now, about the mode itself, and why I think it's harder than Hopeless Pursuit:
I believe that this mode is harder than Hopeless Pursuit, though I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the people after me find this mode to be easier than HP. The main reason why I think this is because Ultimatum is entirely reaction based, you have to prioritize everything and deal with the animatronics as they come after you; whereas with HP you just follow a strict cycle throughout the whole night until you win. Power is also tighter in Ultimatum, though I struggle to gauge by how much/what a theoretical TAS would be able to get on this mode. Mechanically, I'd say these two modes are similar, if not Ultimatum being harder than HP. There's a lot of unique keybinds you need to be pressing constantly unlike HP.
The black bar at the top of my screen that shows the names of different animatronics is to help me with the memory sequence at the end of the night. I've asked the MML Director, Shosela, and she says it's allowed; so I continued to use it. It isn't automatic, I have to input what character it is, so it doesn't make the memory sequence entirely free.
