I remember buying this album on cassette (I was very poor in 1998) when it came out and my mate and I listening to it in the car and being pretty much speechless by the end of Angel. It's an album I wish I could discover again for the first time as I've heard nothing that hit like that since. It's the best album ever in my opinion. It's saying something when a track as brilliant as Risingson is the least impressive thing on it.

Without exaggerating, IMO, this is one of the greatest albums I have ever heard. This is up there with The Velvet Underground.
In fact, I would put it somewhere in my top 20 greatest, along with Physical Graffiti and Wish You were Here and others at that level. Seriously.

Hell yeah!! Jamming this on a slower day round 4-20 times, waiting for more work, playing this following some beatles and NIN and Portishead. Feeding kitties, spending time with my baby, woo!
