This guy is living life to the fullest. From a goat of a ufc fighter to a doctor. SubhanAllah

It's a total loss for fans but Zabit is doing the right thing, he wants to be a doctor, imagine how good he's gonna be at that if he can make fighting look like art. I really wanted to see that fight with Yair.

One of the biggest “what ifs” in UFC history

This is what we pictured as MMA when we were kids. Actual variety in styles and some creativity. Yes, he has game. But not only he displays the obvious kung-fu repertoire, you can see his takedowns have a lot of pure judo with some really clever sweeps that take their opponents really by surprise. Good stuff.

One of the best fighters that could have gotten the belt but never did

He was unique and brilliant.
Pretty sure he is now pursueing a career in Medicine, his dreams are big, he achieved being a UFC legend and now can pursue an intellectual ambition.
He quit UFC because of health issues.
And i think currently is training his younger brother.

like a good Sanda champion, amazing how he catches those sweeps like it was nothing....so much composure and control...good fighter, unassuming appearance as well..something in the "water" of these Stan countries, all badasses out to show the rest of the world how capable they are in MMA....the legendary Scythian blood is in him for sure...

He was like Adesanya or JJ but humble and calm despite the wild talent as well. Could have become the goat, but we'll never know

When Khabib said Dagestanis will overtake UFC he wasn’t joking.
