Nawazuddin Siddiqui, born on May 19, 1974, in Uttar Pradesh, has emerged as one of the most celebrated actors in Indian cinema. His journey from a small-town boy to a powerhouse performer is truly inspiring. After studying engineering and honing his craft at Delhi’s National School of Drama (NSD), he moved to Mumbai, where he initially took on minor roles and television parts in the late 1990s.
Siddiqui’s breakthrough came with Anurag Kashyap's "Black Friday" (2004), which opened doors to significant roles. His early film career saw appearances in "Sarfarosh" (1999), "Shool" (1999), and "Munnabhai M.B.B.S." (2003). His portrayal of Faizal Khan in "Gangs of Wasseypur" (2012), directed by Kashyap, was a game-changer, showcasing his exceptional talent. He continued to impress with roles in "New York" (2009), "Peepli Live" (2010), "Kahaani" (2012), "Talaash" (2012) directed by Reema Kagti, and "The Lunchbox" (2013) by Ritesh Batra.
Siddiqui's versatility was further highlighted in "Badlapur" (2015) with Sriram Raghavan, "Haramkhor" (2017) by Shlok Sharma, and "Manto" (2018) directed by Nandita Das. His role in "Raat Akeli Hai" (2020) by Honey Trehan and "Serious Men" (2020) by Sudhir Mishra demonstrated his continued growth and range.
He also made notable contributions in films alongside major stars, such as "Kick" (2014) with Salman Khan, "Raees" (2017) with Shahrukh Khan, and "Mulk" (2018) with Manoj Bajpayee. In "Thackeray" (2019), he portrayed the legendary Bal Thackeray, further solidifying his stature in the industry.
Siddiqui's performance in "Majhi: The Mountain Man" (2015), directed by Ketan Mehta, received widespread acclaim for its portrayal of the real-life hero Dashrath Manjhi, adding another feather to his cap.

I was eagerly waiting for this show since other recent podcasts/interviews of Nepali media with Nawaz were disappointing. Totally loved this. The host did a great job maintaining smooth, simple and fluent conversation. Liked how Nawaz was not forced to talk about and praise Nepal only throughout the show as seen in other interviews. Enjoyed the questions, enjoyed listening to Nawaz. If anyone is looking to watch just one interview of Nawaz from his visit to Nepal, then it is indisputably this show. Hats off to the host!

I saw some comments debating on language preferances and political agenda, etc. But as a whole, the Interview was pretty good.
