Base runners don’t step off the base until the pitcher toes the rubber and you’ll never be out due to the hidden ball trick. If the pitcher toes the rubber without the ball it’s a balk and a base is awarded to runners.

Why are they allowed to run past 1st base on a single hit, but can't do so here? If they can run past/off the base on a single just because of momentum, the same should apply here, or people who run past first on singles should be able to be tagged out. The only difference is the direction they're coming from.

I don't mean to be the fun police because these are all fun but i do think that the hidden ball trick should be outlawed or at least restricted. Like, maybe time should be called when the player still has it if they pretend to throw it in.

Reason i say this is it's just not in the spirit of the game. Some of these, the runner did everything right
