Thanks for the insight. I'm not actually a photographer or want to be one but I am launching a product business soon. Even though I have had elements of it through out my studies along with editing, I will definitely be outsourcing so it was great to hear about how things can be priced and rough estimates. If I were to outsource this type of work and loved the results, loved working with them.. it would be great to hear from them in the future, giving me a heads up of when to start booking another shoot. That would let me know how their schedule works and let me get a jump start on upcoming things, it's not sleazy at all because of the type of industry it is. I hope people realise that.

Why not just start hiring a small team to execute creative work when you are at the 30-40k mark seems like it makes sense. If you have a partner then it's getting split so I get that. Just curious!
