I'm glad that in my country there has to be someone to receive a package ALWAYS or they take it away and try to deliver at another time, an unattended package wouldn't last more than 2 minutes outside here (thus also avoiding this kinda shit from happening)

In Mexico the packages are given in hand of you can't receive the package 3 days in a row you'll go to the warehouse and they'll be waiting for you. They don't just toss packages to avoid this since some people also order medicine they also have a system in place where they track the driver and if your order doesn't arrive they'll immediately go for the delivery guy

Same with FedEx. I worked at a distribution center for them and employees would step all over packages.

My mom had ordered some glass wear or something for the kitchen. And FedEx was the one who delivered it.
Now, we have a front porch and a fence around it, WITH a gate that's easy to open. The dude literally threw the box like a basket ball onto our porch and walked away. Needless to say, everything was broken
