After a devastating nuclear apocalypse wipes out most of humanity, the last survivors live in a massive space station called The Ark. With resources dwindling and strict population control in place, 100 juvenile prisoners are sent down to Earth to determine if the planet is habitable again. Among them is Clarke Griffin, a determined leader; Bellamy and Octavia Blake, siblings with a rebellious streak; Finn Collins, a free spirit; and Wells Jaha, the chancellor’s son. As they land on Earth for the first time in generations, they face dangers, secrets, and the thrill of newfound freedom.
