Black Ops 6 marks the return of Round-Based Zombies. The fan-favorite mode allows players (1-4) to squad up to take down increasingly difficult waves of the undead. The mode offers two brand-new maps at launch – Liberty Falls and Terminus. Black Ops 6 Zombies continues the Dark Aether storyline in 1991 and after the events of Black Ops Cold War, when Terminus Island becomes the epicenter of a new outbreak. A deep narrative focused on and told through a dedicated crew of Zombies characters available from the start: Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo, along with a supporting cast of new and returning characters Players who play with these four characters will experience even more of the story through additional dialogue and interactions between members of the crew. Fan favorite Zombies features return, including GobbleGums, deep weapon customization, global progression and mode-specific systems. The mode also features a curated mix of powerful weapons and upgrades, deadly enemies and tons of secrets to uncover. The brand-new Augment upgrade system provides a rich and innovative customization experience, allowing players to unlock three Major and three Minor upgrades for every Perk, Ammo Mod, and Field Upgrade in the game. Unlock additional Augments to suit your preferred playstyle, just by playing Zombies. Players will be able to unlock over 100 Augments at launch, with more to come in post-launch seasons. Players will encounter various types of Zombies and grotesque evolving enemies like the new Vermin and Parasites. Higher rounds will introduce more challenging enemies. All new Melee Macchiato Perk-a-Cola designed to inflict a deadly punch to enemies within close range. GobbleGums are single-use items that can be earned in-game to provide various gameplay advantages and effects. Zombies players can also choose to play in 3rd-person perspective and toggle HUD elements such as enemy health bars and zombie damage numbers in Settings for the first time in a Black Ops Zombies game.

I miss when zombies was simple, had that aura and eerie feeling survival main priority with starting from scratch every game. Everything should be able to get and improve durin a game as a reward for doing something. Imo and older casual players anyway. This isn't MP with classes etc.

This sounds FANTASTIC. I love RPG games that allow you to create character builds, this sounds like that concept translated to zombies and I cannot wait!
