What do you think most creative professionals present multiple versions of their work to their clients. It is not because they have nothing better to do it is mainly because a real professional would never stop at a single concept.

One of the best design channels on YouTube, I reckon.

I'm in love with this channel! Probably one of the best in the design community, and is in my top 3 "go-to" for tips and tricks.

I just started my first job at an ad agency about 3 weeks ago. My process is ALWAYS "make multiple versions" because I'll change one, small detail and continue building from those. Before long I have several drafts and I was worried that they would, somehow, find that annoying. The first 15 seconds of this video put me at ease after hearing you say that a "true professional would never stop at a single concept". Thank you for saying that, I needed it.

Absolutely PERFECT! I loved both the creative approach to the design of the pages and the lecturers ability to explain how this was done step-by-step. I am looking forward to seeing the other videos as well. AMAAAAZING!

Martin, thank you so much for these free tutorials! I'm not designing much for offset print any longer but have often wanted to bleed text off a trim edge and wondered how to achieve the 1/8-inch bleed allowance without chopping off the text or distorting it. This has usually been a consideration for ruling this technique out. It looks like you also played with placing the headline on the diagonal across the gutter, solving the bleed issue but also possible creating a pinch in the gutter. I love using something like this one a center spread on saddle-stitched documents, other bindings would be tricky. These are all important things for designers to consider. I learn new tips and techniques with every video!

Need, need, need! In the nick of time, whew! Thank you! I've become so depressed, that I just stopped finishing my own work, to because I've lost so many friends and family, due to cancer and covid. Pray I can assemble my books in time, exhausted from being constantly picked on, by hubby.

Litterally perfect! Just when I'm working on my internship report's layout! I already did different layouts, without stopping at the first one, but your idea of using the subject selection in photoshop gave me an idea and my cover looks so beautiful thanks to you!

I'd love to see more editorial designs and web as well! I think these two are connected, and not just from a historical point of view. I'm just building my portfolio, and your explanation is so useful, that I'm thinking of taking your course too! Thanks for making it available here!
