My late wife died unexpectedly in 2019, our sons were 4 and 2. I use music as a way to be with her. Starbright is a song that makes me feel close to her, and helped me when I was at my darkest.
When I started dating my current wife, I used music to reflect on how fortunate I was to find love and a mother to my boys. Our first dance was to the acoustic version of Alive. We had the boys each dance w her during the two instrumental sections. Frickin beautiful, chef's kiss. Not a dry eye in the place.
I just found this today. To have a song that intersects feelings I have for each of my wives, bruh. Caught a little bit of the rainy eyes I must admit. Beautiful, thanks DABIN

I've spent 5 years waiting to die, not searching for it but just waiting. My whole life I've felt as though I don't belong. I finally thought I had it all together and was on top of the world but it was ripped away from me by my own mistakes when I crashed my car and took the life of my girlfriend. That was 5 years ago, my friend showed me this mix right around the time I made some big changes to my life. I cut out some bad people and found a new group I call family. Went to my first festival and took up photography. Now I'm starting to make a name for myself and I feel alive. Thank you for being my starbright. Words will never fully express my gratitude for your music
