Introduction to SaltStack Enterprise 5.0

A SaltConf16 tech talk by Matt Meservey and Rob Booth. Get an early look at the completely new SaltStack Enterprise 5.0 product which includes a new architecture, Enterprise API and an entirely new graphical user interface. The session will cover how SaltStack Enterprise makes the power and scalability of Salt accessible to your entire team, and how you can use SaltStack Enterprise to automate and manage IT operations through an easy and intuitive GUI. We'll demonstrate the creation of targets, running jobs, controlling access to an environment through role-based access control, and tracking this history of everything that happens in an infrastructure. We will also discuss the roadmap and where the SaltStack team is taking SaltStack Enterprise and how we’ll make managing complex infrastructure easier and better than ever.
