My teacher would describe it like getting out of jail lmao like {8} gets turned into {2•4} then because the 4 has a square root of 2 it can escape, but since the 2 that’s already there doesn’t have a square root it cannot leave, and you’re left with 2{2} (just pretend the brackets are the square root symbol) and I thought it was a little funny, so I thought I’d share :)
