As a saxophonist of 36 years, the only fairly convincing (to the less-trained ear) keyboard rendition of a saxophone yet — thanks to the expressive possibilities of the Seaboard (and Jordan's excellent chops). I only hope that music education and listener's thirst for the subtleties of human expression continue to want more from a woodwind performance.

You can tell he comes from a pianist background. Technique and chord progression. Cant wait to see where this all goes

Don't forget the guy who played the bass line though, Marco Parisi also did it really awesome :D

What plugin is the seaboard driving for the sax and bass sounds?

Is the tone generation coming from the Seaboard, or a virtual instrument like Trillian, or is it all Roli, or what? Cool man!

I like Jordan Rudess, but I call this a stunt with no relationship whatsoever with music and even less with 🎷. Ask Chris Potter what he thinks about this, better than me ! I would never buy this kind of "keyboard", and I play piano and sax, by the way...

Cool :) Can't imagine how good it will be to play Indian Carnatic Music in it :)

It's amazing.... It's a Mutant... It is crossed between a surfboard and a synthesiser.. I mean you can create music and then You can go surfing... Lol just joking

1:02 he worked the slight malfunction of the high note into his solo ^^ Nice.

That's cool but what he is playing doesn't sound like good sax music. Coming from one

IMHO Jordan is a great keyboard player but he doesn't have vibrato. Marco in the back is much better with this instrument because he knows how to bend it

I find it far from blistering whatever is he playing there...
