President Cyril Ramaphosa will today attend the inauguration of President-Elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Tinubu will be officially sworn in as Nigeria's 16th President after he won what has been described as the tightest Nigerian presidential election in decades. This is amidst the opposition candidates challenging Tinubu's victory at the February 25th polls in court, saying that the election results were manipulated and the elections marred by violence, voter intimidation and vote buying. In his farewell speech, Tinubu's predecessor Muhammadu Buhari said that he is confident that he is leaving office with Nigeria better in 2023 than in 2015. To talk more on this, we are virtually joined by Prof Christopher Isike, Professor of African Politics and International Relations, University of Pretoria and Director, African Centre for the Study of the United States, University of Pretoria.

Breaking: "It's Tinubu's personal Right to be Nigeria president, & it's the universal Rights of Yorubas to have their own sovereign Nation. & not because Tinubu is Yoruba that would change the prerogative of 60 million Yorubas to exercise their natural right to self determination and full sovereignty from the British imperialists forged entity Nigeria. NO Going Back I'm saying". Reiterarated Prof Banji Akintoye.
