Once you hit stage 5 in career, this no longer works. Nothing works. Setting compatibility to Windows XP (SP3 or earlier) doesn't fix it either. The issue is that EA fucked this game up on the PC. The only way to fix it is to actually rework the game's code and find out where the crash is happening. That'd necessitate reverse-engineering of the game's code, which is not only (technically) illegal, but also not for the faint of heart.

Hey, I've tried your method, I also tried to run the game in compatibility mode, as administrator
I tried to find a fix everywhere but nothing worked... At the beginning of the campaign it didn't crash at all then the more I played the more crashes I got, most of the time when I was entering a garage or (some) missions. Now I can't even start the game, it crashes as soon as I launch it. Do you have any idea what's the problem ?

Ps : I've installed widescreen to play in 1920x1080 and reshade, but it crashed before I did

I don't know what is happening but it simply don't stop crashing. I really don't know what to do anymore. I Set Priority to High, Change afinity to just one core and anything worked. I can't even go to settings in game menu, it crashes almost instantly. Can anybody help me?

Thx it worked, but one problem, when I put affinity to only cpu 0, it lags, but when I put to all CPUs, works fine and then it crashes the game, why is it lagging at only CPU 0?
