I feel like monogamous relationships are a trap for women if all men cheat and the fear of that is making me question whether I want to get married. The natural solution to me seems like polyamory but that is mostly misunderstood and completely frowned upon in most places.

Jeez... Here is the thing about "love". A woman's notions of love only appeals to women. What matters to men is if a woman he takes a genuine interest in, respects, appreciates and values him. Any man that "loves" a woman, is in a weak position and powerless, which is appealing to the type of females that take advantage of and use dudes. Too many women are too wrapped up in their own emotions to see much less understand what men (not selfish male children) matters to us. Too many women project their notions, emotions and expectations on us as if we operate on their wave lengths. I never cared if any woman loved me, what mattered to me is if they respected, appreciate and value me for the fact that I am things they aren't and saw them as worthy of my protection, provision, presence and productivity.
