This gave me straight chills the need a season two or a movie bringing them back fixing the ending like they did in the manga this is the best anime relationship I’ve ever watched it hits every feeling perfectly with that being said the ending killed me inside but the manga fixed it I’ve been rewatching the show for my weekly dose of happyness

literally the best anime ive ever watched, even better than one punch man. of course each one has a different style but i think darling in the franxx with its story, characters, romance, hiro and zero two and the "sad" ending makes we feel more emotions. i recently rewatched the whole anime and im so obsessed with hiro and zero two, because after all their fights, problems, emotions, happiness, they died in the last battle to save the world and their squad 13 friends. but the most heartwarming thing is when hiro and zero two, as souls, go back to earth to reincarnate and be together as they promissed to each other. the only sad thing is that the children they reincarned in wouldnt have any of the memories from the past life, so it would be like a normal couple without all the emotions we love beetween hiro and zero two. thats why i wanted a film not a whole new season because we dont need much, just a conclusion of what exactly happened there.
