Twice (Korean: 트와이스; RR: Teuwaiseu; Japanese: トゥワイス, Hepburn: Tuwaisu; commonly stylized in all caps) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Twice was formed under the television program Sixteen (2015) and debuted on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins, and has received the honorific title of "The Nation's Girl Group" in their home country.[1]

Twice rose to domestic fame in 2016 with their single "Cheer Up", which charted at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, became the best-performing single of the year, and won "Song of the Year" at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards. Their next single, "TT", from their third EP Twicecoaster: Lane 1, topped the Gaon charts for four consecutive weeks. The EP was the highest selling Korean girl group album of 2016. Within 19 months after debut, Twice had already sold over 1.2 million units of their four EPs and special album. As of 2022, the group has sold over 15 million albums cumulatively in South Korea and Japan.[2][3]

The group debuted in Japan on June 28, 2017, under Warner Music Japan, with the release of a compilation album titled #Twice.[4] The album charted at number 2 on the Oricon Albums Chart with the highest first-week album sales by a K-pop artist in Japan in two years. It was followed by the release of Twice's first original Japanese maxi single titled "One More Time" in October. Twice became the first Korean girl group to earn a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for both an album and CD single in the same year. Twice ranked third in the Top Artist category of Billboard Japan's 2017 Year-end Rankings, and in 2019, they became the first Korean girl group to embark on a Japanese dome tour.

Twice is Korea's National Girl Group, Asia's #1 Girl Group and the most successful Kpop Girl Group in history. They are the highest selling and most awarded GG ever. To this day they are selling out massive stadiums worldwide and spreading joy to new and current fans alike. They truly never miss and are literally the hardest working GG out there with a discography closing in on 200 songs that appeal to any age or music taste. As the song said they've been lightning from the start and they just keep proving why they're unstoppable.

You should react to I Can't Stop Me next, it is an incredible song with amazing choreography (and they recently released a remix with Boys Like Girls that is really good!). For more live vocals, I suggest Queen of Hearts (official live clip), Crazy Stupid Love (2023 tour), Moonlight (2022 tour), or Rewind (2022 tour). Twice is known for their catchy songs and impressive choreographies, so for quintessential Twice songs/performances I would also suggest Talk That Talk (2022), Fancy (2019), Feel Special (2019), What is Love? (2018), and Cheer Up (2016).

K-pop implies that everyone has to sing, and dance, and someone needs to be able to rap, and someone has to be the visual (pretty one) Twice broke the mold they ALL can do everything, they all even write songs (the best ones are written by the members, IMO). They have been around for almost 9 years and they have used that time to make themselves the best they can be, in the beginning not all of them could do everything well but NOW oh yea. If you want catchy upbeat music you've come to the right place most all of their songs are like that. Their M/V's tell a story but they are not obvious about it so they keep you guessing, "what did that mean", which is fun oh and they are never over till there over. Don't be fooled by the catchy beat though almost all the songs have deep meaning. As an example Likey if you read the words you will find a story about the evils of social media, likey means push the like button because that's what my life is. This song has very deep meaning for the members but us ONCE's know exactly what they are talking about, if you become a ONCE's you will understand the symbiotic relationship they have with each other and us and we them, may sound corny but if you hang around you'll understand. Lastly (I promise) they have over 40 M/V's and 200 songs so they can keep you busy for awhile but you will enjoy yourself and we (ONCE's) will come and enjoy it with you. OT9 forever (a promise Twice made us ONCE's that they will always remain as 9 this song reiterates that promise).
