smaller sway bar diameter allows more flex offroad

I replaced my air dam with a much smaller one. I have not noticed any difference in fuel economy and I used the exact same route and mileage for comparison purposes, I have a 2019 F250 turbo diesel that I drive at high altitudes. The smaller one looks soooo much better.

Good video. Like both trucks with their own features but someday I would like to see the engineers put a motorized air dam on these trucks that would give better mpg on paved surfaces and then tuck up in the core support area when off road.

Thanks for the comparison. I tend to upgrade shocks on my own anyway, OEM shocks are usually not very good, at least not for long. Put blistein 5100 on our F150 (much better) and Fox 2.0 on the old Tahoe. Have y'all run into the death wobble issue? F250's are hard to come by right now, at least with the 7.3. Finally scored a '21 XL STX FX4, perfect for our needs/wants. Dealer installed leather seats, bench front (we prefer it, large family), ultimate tow package (cameras are nice), e-locker, manual seats (love that). Hate the stock lights, they don't do much on our dark backroads. Maybe my eyes are just getting old. I don't like the look of the snowplow air dam, but going to leave it for the long hauls, we need all the MPG we can get towing our TT/toy hauler. It seems ridiculously tall, especially coming from our '13 F150.

Tremor package is really cool! If you wanna just buy a standard F250 and build a tremor out of it your gonna roughly save $1000 bucks. That's buying a readylift level kit installing yourself and opting for a rear locker from the factory and getting the 35-in tires. Close as your gonna get without the tremor package. I guess you could get those side steps from Ford.

Great video...thanks! Any thoughts / perspective regarding the Tremor's trail control and rock crawl modes? I do wish the Tremor came with a 17in wheel with 35s for more effective air down situations.

You can use F150 running board brackets to raise the running boards up close to the cab on the STX. I did it on my 2019. You can also swap in a 2wd valance for a better look. The 2017-2019 2wd valances are a shorter.

Great review! My 2019 Chevy 2500 HD 6.0 gasser looking like a turd after the 7.3 info... ugh

Tremor is bad ass offroad. Svt work truck. That's the difference. Ohh and $4g's.
Forgot to mention the water tubes

I wish I could see a 2 wheel drive version of these super duties that is not a work truck. I do not need 4x4. I just want something to tow my travel trailer 5 or 6 times a year.

Is it worth the 4, 000 for the tremor. Or should I just build it myself

Yeah even with the Lariat package, the LED lights are still a upgrade option. I think another thousand or so.. crazy. I have a Tremor Lariat on order but opted out of the headlights. I thought the camera up front was standard on the Tremor package? Or does that cost extra also?

What is the overall height of each truck?

At 9:30, do you have any favorite aftermarket systems to clean up that front end and get all that stuff up out of the way of possibly being smashed?

Thanks

hey guys..great videos. Can you tell me if the Tremor rides a little smother or softer do to the 18" tires, softer springs and shocks Vs some of the 20's on the other Fords or maybe the STX. I have a 7.3 Lariat coming with the sport package and 20's . Im second guessing if I should have ordered the Tremor or go like I planned and get the Carli 2.5 lift w their specially tuned Fox shocks.

My '03 F-150 5.4 2v has the "Rust package". I'm sick of hearing that word "Package"

Good Year comment, if an A/T or Mud Tire doesn’t last it means it has good to great off road traction, if they last it means they suck for anything other than pavement. But in general, all tire manufacturers make both good and bad tires, you can’t group manufacturers as all good or all bad anymore

A deer hit my air dam/bumper and messed it all up. Looking like Mater in the Cars movie now just need two front teeth on it. Damn embarrassing. Of course I'm alive and the deer is road kill so I'm pretty happy about that. 😁
