I've been using a soldering iron to burn in tiny holes for grip on my jazz iii picks and it has worked perfectly for years.

From 1.5 to 0.88 is a huge drop! It seems to be the thing to do now. Even the djent bois are dropping pick gauge.

I went to 0.73 Flow & Primetone Jazz III XL ever since I saw Paul Gilbert was shredding with a 0.6 tortex

I've been using the jazz III Max Grip with carbon fiber and I can say that they barely flex and it glides nicely across the strings

He really know what he wants, so mick use flow 1.0 apparently? so i think its that blue colour pick, flow pick really help with picking cause it gives that snappy attack

Which material is he using with the Dunlop flow? He doesn’t say but at least in the quick shot it doesn’t look like either the normal Ultex material or the tortex material.
