Tens of thousands of people thronged the streets of Tehran today to witness the funeral procession of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei offered prayers over the coffins of the country's late President, foreign minister, and other officials who were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday (May 19, 2024). Various foreign dignitaries including Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, Pakistan's PM Shehbaz Sharif, among others were in attendance at the ceremony commemorating the late President Raisi. Meanwhile, Iranian regime is trying to reaffirm its control with authorities warning the masses against any public celebrations in the country.
