Have been using the 2.6 alpha for a couple of days now and its pretty good another feature i like is the new split feature that allows for dowels and adds it automatically yo the print so now you can split larger pieces and have connectors set in the slicer to assemble the parts later when printed. some pretty nice features added along with an intelligent almost A.I type of new support generating system

I’ve done 60 odd tags for keyrings with people’s names on it (flat oval with text on top) & it just doesn’t fill in the text properly. It’s almost like it misses a track & it doesn’t fill in from an angle like any other flat surface, it tries to follow the contour of the text making it look quite stringy
I’m using an Elegoo 2D printing text in a different colour

I get a magnificent finish with tinkercad (as difficult it is to make a 2 colour stl). Probably user error but I can’t find any settings to play with which would alter the outcome

I think this will be nice for putting a version mark in the part when iterating a model with fusion 360 since the text conversion is kinda weak an I generally wait for the end to add text.
