Great video as always! And a very valid point concerning the Tilly operation. I didn't pick up on that but now it bugs me!

Overall, really really liked this one.. Big step up from last episode, but even that one I enjoyed. I don't know about the wider audience, but I really like the character Jett Reno. She's cynicial and sarcastic, but not mean spirited or nasty. Her and Stamets make a good team lol... The only slight thing that sort of bothered me was it seems Saru and Burnham are way too friendly again..I mean they had sort of had a lot of hostility towards each other, but now it seems like it's just erased and they're now best friends lol... I really loved Number 1...she walked onto Discovery, commanded the screen and went down to business, Rebbeca Romain nailed it. I may be alone here, but I actually don't want her to ever have a name lol, the mystery of it is pretty fun.


And yes I agree, the Translator going haywire was....hilarious... and it actually brings to light, just how much an entire starship would actually need it... Not only for interspecies communication, but even people from Earth may not even be speaking the same language! Seeing Detmer speak Klingon was hilarious...

Haha, and I agree 100% with the Stranger Things reference....it felt like I was going to start hearing the 80's synth music


I am seriously so on board with Discovery... after the up and down feelings I had with Season 1....this solidifies it for me, I'm super excited for what we have here... And I think it's kinda obvious...but I imagine we'll be seeing Dr. Culber soon...

I was expecting Capt Pike to at least give us a last name for Number One. Novels have given us non-canon names but we have yet to get an official canon name for this iconic character.
