AI Tools: OpenAI's Advanced Voice mode for ChatGPT is out to everyone with a ChatGPT account and I wanted to see if it could get it to co-create a game with me in real time. In general, the answer here is no but we had a lot of fun trying.

Do you find the speed in response time similar to what we saw in the open AI preview a few months back? From watching different user videos, it seems this version of voice is slower with response time compared to what we saw in the demos ? I haven’t been able to test it myself .

We really do live in some strange times, 5 years ago I remember people saying this kind of tech was impossible and I was stupid for saying it should be doable under current LLMs. To quote the great Todd Howard, whose laughing now

It should recognize when you laugh, continuing speaking and ocationally laughing or otherwise reacting about you laughing. And similar things.

Ask her to make a game out of popular eggcorns. Eggcorn are a word or phrase that results from a mishearing or misinterpretation of another, an element of the original being substituted for one that sounds very similar or identical. Examples are: "For all intensive purposes", "another think coming", "doggy dog world", etc.

lol. It’s a bummer playing with these when not knowing anything about how it works. It cannot think of an answer and then work backward because it has to say anything it thinks. So it can’t make puzzles (unless you are using o1. Also if you keep asking it to do something new but don’t start a new session it will look to the rest of that chat session for context.

From what I just witnessed, the only thing that got "weird" was your constant request of changing the challenge. The AI would have done perfectly if YOU werent that weird.
