It was challenging and rewarding putting together my take on the various musical styles, directions and dynamics that interest me into one album. Additionally, through the language of music, I wanted to maintain a focus on my vision of hope, love, positive energy, bright light, silver lining, a better world, in my own way,
𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐘 𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓.

There's another thing about this album that's special for me:
I've made several 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐦𝐬 featuring myself in various musical styles and settings, including ensembles, duets, songwriter collaborations and those which I'm the sole writer and performer with guest instrumentalists and vocalists. But 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Actually, I had the idea of, and started working on this self-made solo album before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, when artists creating music by themselves became more commonplace. In fact, 𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐝.
Even before I was pursuing my freelance drumming career from an early age, I was honing and recording my writing skills.

In addition to the many artists I've contributed my efforts to in a variety of styles and settings with some of the world's most outstanding musicians, along with a vision of hope, love, positive energy and a better world for all of us, it's been great creating music solely on my own.

Since then as a drummer, he has performed all over the world and recorded on gold/platinum albums and hit singles for Billy Ocean, George Benson, Natalie Merchant, Freddie Jackson, Stephanie Mills, Tom Jones, Laura Nyro, Anne Murray, Mel Torme, Jennifer Holliday, Phil Woods, The Fania All -Stars, The CTI All-Stars, Jonathan Butler. Film scores for One Fine Day, You've Got Mail, Object Of My Affection, My Blue Heaven, Titus, Frida, Slaves Of New York, What Planet Are You From, and countless jingles and TV shows. Terry has toured globally with Roberta Flack, the award-winning all-star Manhattan Jazz Orchestra (MJO), and many others.

As a 𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫/𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐫/𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫, Terry has written, produced and arranged hundreds of pieces for network TV shows including One Life To Live, The Sopranos (a song in an Emmy award-winning episode), All My Children, Ed, Beverly Hills 90210, Young And The Restless, Melrose Place, C.S.I., NCIS, Ghost Whisperer, Strong Medicine, Las Vegas, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Seventh Heaven, The District, The Shield, Burn Notice, South Beach. Jingles for Reebok, Nicorette, Pantene, Crisco Canola. Songs in the films INVINCIBLE with Mark Wahlberg (#1 box office movie in the U.S. for two weeks), MARCI X with Lisa Kudrow, SUNSHINE CLEANING with Alan Arkin/Emily Blunt/Amy Adams, MAD ABOUT MAMBO with Keri Russell, HEAD OVER HEELS with Monica Potter and Freddie Prinze Jr., music from the TV show SMASH, and songs recorded by Nancy Wilson, Carl Anderson, Les McCann, Judy Torres, Louise (top ten single in the UK) and Philip Ingram.

Terry has twelve 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐦𝐬 showcasing his drumming, compositions and producing within the jazz, pop and film music idioms.
