The Ann Van Skatepark is one of the most fun DIY skateparks ever. I have done a bunch of skateboarding lessons there and plan to do a lot more. I completed a great lesson and was about to skate the park and it started raining out. I left because the rain didn’t stop and after 5 minutes of driving home the sun came out and everything started drying up. I turned around and went back to the Ann Van Park and had a great time.

The concert skatepark dried up fast and I was about to do a fakie ollie and fakie kickflip in the bowl. I had the whole skate park to myself since the bowl was the only thing I could skate. I used rags from my car to help make the bowl dry up faster.

Then a local skater showed up and dried off the half pipe with a random towel he found. Then I met another kid skating the half pipe and we played a game of SKATE on the mini ramp. Some how I had a come back win at the end and finally landed the kickflip to fakie with my Andy Anderson Powell Peralta Flight Deck. It TRULY was an amazing skateboarding day and I’m glad I turned back to skateboard.
