Oh, this was awesome. You are an amazing teacher. You are the first one that made the lightbulb come on in my head on how to do the kitchener stitch! I’m so happy now. I got so frustrated trying to learn this from other tutorials. Nobody ever mentioned the part about how you know to start with a knit off on the front because of looking at the knit side. And purl off first on other side because you see purl bumps. I don’t know, you just really made it click for me. Thank you so much!

Your teaching skills are amazing. Your videos are detailed and well structured. I’ve been knitting for almost 3 years and it’s the first time I managed to finally get the Kitchener stitch. Thank you!

You are a wonderful teacher! Thank you for your simple concise instructions. I’ve been doing the Kitchener stitch for awhile. I liked your instruction. I’ve also found another technique without a tapestry needle from VeryPink Knits-Knitting Help- Knit Kitchener Stitch.

Hi Natalie! When you do the kitchener stitch for the toe and heel, are you using the yarn that is attached to work, or cutting a separate piece to seam with? Thank you!

I think the heel flap and gusset is a much better heel

Natalie, I’m noticing that my row gauge is different with different fingering yarn. How do you deal with this for counting rows between heel and toe? Obviously, I could just carry a measuring tape, but I’m wondering if there are any other tips you have.
