Elizabeth + Nathan || 'I don't think I was listening to my heart...'

I am READY for season 11 - that promo poster (internally screaming).

I was always a Nathan fan, don't get me wrong I didn't dislike Lucas but I saw Lucas as her old life; safety in the comfort of it from the beginning. Whereas Nathan was the unhappy ending with Jack./ unsafe path.
I felt like Lucas could offer all these different possibilities (trips away to the city, literature etc) and comforts to Elizabeth which in the end would take her back to the world she left in season 1 and it was always going to be about if she wanted that for her future.
So season 10 made sense to me (But I can understand why with season 9 giving no hint to this why Lucas fans feel let down in this writing - maybe it wasn't the initial plan - who knows)

It always interested me how when the triangle was happening Lucas did the grand gestures and "grand ideas" - love through gifts bought, making for beautiful scenes and visual "luxuries", spoiling Elizabeth as every woman should experience. However, Nathan could only offer his words and his actions, handmade gifts; in the end his honesty as a friend in wanting her to be happy.

I really can't wait to see how this relationship unfolds, this blended family dynamic will be great to see. I am curious to see if Allie will be happy or apprehensive as she was upset when Elizabeth chose Lucas so maybe she won't be so quick to soften.

There were hints throughout the whole love triangle she was supposed to be with Nathan, but I also liked that she chose Lucas and we saw her character deals with the trauma of losing Jack in a very normal way where you chose the someone you know isn’t long term but try to make the rebound work so you don’t have to deal with the real thing again

Nathan and Elizabeth were always endgame. It wasn’t fair to Lucas but she loves Nathan. Always has. She only chose Lucas because she was afraid to love Nathan and lose him the same way she lost Jack. I am looking forward to seeing them get together. I was a Lucas/Liz fan before. If I can accept it. Any true Heartie can accept it. 😊

She was the one that went chasing after Lucas, and now she claims she was never even in love with him. If that's the case then she isn't the kind, wonderful, caring woman she has always claimed to be. She just used Lucas for what she could git out of him and then dumped him when he really needed her.

You could have even more compelling scenes of her love for Lucas. Let's face it...the girl just can't make up her mind. And if she does, just wait a few episodes and she'll change it.
