How the hell have I never seen the video for "Hyperballad" until today? I've loved the song for almost thirty years (!) and the Bjork/Gondry videos even more. Few artists have ever collaborated with such dazzling results.

Well, this is the 9th time I've listened this song today. The music, the video, the lyrics...the lyrics! Oh one can lose his/her head completely. How painful and beautiful it is.

This is her best song and music video imo. I couldn't even begin to write what it is about this particular piece that I love so much in 10 words or less. I used this song for everything, relaxing, traveling, sleeping, exercising, cleaning, it's even more enjoyable when you get to watch the music video as you listen. The theme, instrumental, lyrics, mixed media and production, ugh I LOVE Bjork's art, I wouldn't be surprised if they show her work in museums somewhere around the world.

I've always found this song so beautiful and troubling at the same time. A perfect example of what I'd call sublime. But I've never really dwelled on why beyond the music itself and some motifs jumping out in the lyrics. Anyone up for analyzing with me? Please don't Google any analyses online.
