RECORD SALES at the Farmers Market!

I had RECORD SALES at the farmers market today! This is the height of the farmers market season: There's lots of fresh produce, we are fully stocked with meat and eggs, and the farmers market customer crowds keep getting bigger. In between sales, I give advice about succeeding at the farmers market.

Note:
-We do not offer farm tours
-We do not ship our farm's products
-We do not sell live animals

Pete, it's great that you take the time to promote the Ithaca farmer's market and the other vendors. Rising waters float all boats.

I don't know how your channel was in my feed a couple weeks ago but I clicked on your video and watched it. Two weeks later I think I have almost watched all of your videos. Such a nice channel and so calming to watch. It makes me think about home. Being so far away it's nice to be able to watch and smile. Thanks for the great content. I'm happy to be subscribed and look forward to more videos. 😊😊😊

So happy I was able to meet you yesterday! The Eggs were huge and fantastic, and the Chuck was amazing. Made a really nice Steak and Ale pie!

No surprise on the *_’record day’_* sales, you’re such an engaging fella with quality produce.

So pleased it’s all come together for you, though it’s no happy accident.

You reap what you sow.

It's so refreshing to see this cozy market with people conducting business the old fashion way. It's such a nice change of pace from the rat race. It looks like you need to expand the operation to satisfy all those customers.

I check Youtube anxiously about every other day waiting for your videos. I grew up in a farm in Argentina and now live in California where owning one is nearly impossibly expensive. But I relive my childhood through your content. Thank you.

I am in Utah. And we have some farmer’s markets. But NOTHING like this! I would be out at yours shopping every two weeks for groceries. And your meat would be top of my list each time! If I am ever that far over in the country, I plan to stop by. We really need something on this level here in my state. To see so many people shopping for good, quality meat and produce like this, is really cool. 👍

It’s a good thing to go home empty- it makes packing up a lot easier too!

we lived in Greene NY for 7 years right next to a dairy farm. We only had 2 acres but had a large garden where we would grow all our vegetables for the year. We now live in TN and have a 15 acre homestead. Plan A was Greene and Plan B is our current homestead. love the channel.

I once worked for a company that bent over backwards to take care of customers. The owner's philosophy was "take care of the customer and the money will follow". He built up one store into over a hundred stores throughout the US. We need more folks like that who care about people. Thanks for another great video.

People are at the farmers market because they want to be there, it is a social event. not unlike the supermarket where most need to be there out of necessity, and everyone is in a hurry.

I am in Bklyn NY and I work among very negative people that are not nice to me...so yes I do understand what you said and working on finding another job out of state so I can go to farmers markets regularly and meet nice positive people like you and others. God Bless!

I think that the most glaring impression that I have of both you and your family is the incredibly wide-ranging skill set that you have. The extent to which you have those skills indicates the effort and time that you must have spent, and are still spending, to hone them.
Thank you for your always informing, interesting and entertaining videos.
I was in a classroom from the age of 5 to the age of 61 and I think that you are an excellent teacher!
Greetings from Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

The wood floors and open trusses really add to the nostalgia of the place.
Of course being and older person just hearing “Ithaca” reminds me of my favorite shotgun, the famous model 37.

From the looks of things, you could have sold almost twice as much. What a great day!! What a nice clientele you have built up! Rewards for all that hard work you put in!!
