Shadow of War - Blood Brother - Blood on Blood Achievement/Trophy Guide - Make a Captain kill his bloodbrother.

Use a worm to gain intel on the army and find two captains that are Bloodbrothers (located in the 2nd tab). Now, go and dominate the higher level captain in order to make him a follower. You can also train this follower to make him a higher level and/or shame the enemy captain to bring his level down. Next, you'll want to Command your captain with a Kill order on his Bloodbrother. This will generate a mission that you'll want to visit. Additionally, make sure that neither of the captains are on a mission while you assign it, you can Advance Time if necessary. During this mission, you want your follower to kill his bloodbrother making sure he gets the final blow. You can help weaken the enemy but it is not recommended because this might cause your follower a Betrayal. A captain might flee, in which case you will need to repeat the Kill order. As your follower kills his Bloodbrother the achievement will unlock.

The best tip I can give anyone is if you're late into the game (like past shadow wars) go to minus morgal and get Intel on captains there. I was pretty much endgame and was finishing up to get the platinum, and went there to get this achievement. Found blood brothers within 10 minutes.

I have to wonder if the surviving blood brother can betray you further down the line, with him referencing the fact that you made him kill his brother.

I just got it, but it took awhile, I had to look online for the best way to spawn blood brothers… ITS NOT ENOUGH FOR THEM TO JUST BE BLOOD BROTHERS!! They have to have “Blood Brothers” under their HATE column when you look at their details- it’s a lot to get used to if you’re not used to these types of games….

But the BEST WAY to get them to spawn in your army screen (if you’re having a hard time finding them) is to CLEAN HOUSE and kill off about half of the captains - send your men to do this obviously, then advance time and watch the new captains appear…. This worked tremendously for me! Thanks MAKA!!!

Made the mistake of 100% completing the game now it's the only achievement I'm missing... I don't think any of my orcs have blood brothers. D:

Too complicated. I just dominate both and have them fight each other in the pits.

Don't you just hate it when you mind you hunt down one orc and then in the middle of the battle a unknown orc ambushes you and when you kill the orc that did the ambush, you try to turn your attention back to the orc you tried to hunt in the first place, and when you turn your back, the blood brother of the orc you just killed also wants your skin.. Ugh..

It happened like 2 times for me, before I unlocked the dominate ability..

people, you must NEVER ignore this stupid blood-brother shit. I did, and I've regretted it so much I wanted to turn back time. I had an olog captain who was awesome in every way. Even had a fucking flamethrower. And a can-do attitude. He was perfect, but then, I accidentally killed his blood-brother. He betrayed me to try and avenge him. And as much as I hated traitors, I didn't wanna lose him. So I forced him back into my army. It took me shaming him three whole times. Turned him into a retarded mess. And it breaks my heart just remembering that whole fucked-up ordeal.

If you have a captain who is among your favourites, then do both yourselves and him a favour and check through his traits to see of he has a blood-brother. Don't repeat my mistake. Spare your followers, and yourselves.

I think mine might be bugged. I’ve done both the pit and the duel mission where my captain definitely got the last hit in, had my captain betray me despite not hitting his brother at all, had the captain not betray me after a pit fight and everything in between and I still am not getting the achievement. Anyone else having this problem?

I done this before and it worked, but I’ve been wondering what would happen if you got another captain to kill someone else’s blood brother

This is driving me crazy. It's the last trophy I need and I can never spawn blood brothers. I have been sitting here for hours just advancing time, killing off my guys, doing everything but no blood brothers. I would see a bunch when I first started the game and now I see fucking none. Worst part about it was that just 5 hours ago today I had 2 blood brothers and instead of making them fight in the fighting pits I made one attack the other. Then during the fight they both turned on me. Instead of being smart and quitting the game I thought I would just dominate one of them but then one died from fire. Fuck. My. Life.

You could brand both of the blood brothers and then you could make them fight in the fight pits!

Just recruit both and put em in the pit fights to kill each other

So annoying 3 times a random orc has got the last hit and the animation don't know why they would have them stand so close they just get in the way constantly
