Fans were treated to a cracker of a game at Pittodrie as Celtic recorded a 3-1 win against a youthful Aberdeen team who refused to lie down.

Goals from Liel Abada, Kyogo and Matt O'Riley secured the three points for Brendan Rodgers' men, while Bojan Miovski bagged for the Dons in what was an entertaining game in the Granite City.

The Hoops took an early lead through Abada, with his goal initially chalked off for offside before a VAR review correctly deemed him on.

The home side struck back, with Duk and Miovski combining for the latter to thump one past Joe Hart.

Kyogo's trademark brand of lurking beyond the defence paid off shortly after, when a stray defensive header from Nicky Devlin fell kindly to the Japanese hitman, who buried it.

Late on, Yang played a lovely ball across the box to Matt O'Riley who struck the killer blow by blasting the ball past Kelle Roos to make it 3-1.
