for short. Get the prowl. It was much more field of view and is closer to a real pvs 14. I own a White phosphor pvs14 myself and for 250 dollars, the prowl is insane forn the price.

I have the prowl, but the refresh rate sucks, there’s a bunch of lag when walking

I have had the prowl for a few weeks now. I use it to patrol my 5 acres. I love it. I use it on IR0 mostly. I can see slightly more details than with the naked eye. Id say its best use is observation but with practice it can be used for slow navigation. If you are using it with a rifle, get a weapon mounted illuminator and laser. I had no success using the prowl to aim through an optic unless you use weapon mounted illumination. I originally got it to be paired with a thermal scope but im still undecided on which agm rattler model I want.

I would choose the NVG-10, because it’s sized more for helmet use and longer range . Great for property, observation and security use . I don’t have one yet but plan on buying one in the next couple months. For a bump helmet build .

Stupid question, do they work for stargazing like a Pvs?
Also, the prowl is the only one capable of being used as binos, correct? Or can the nvg 10 be dual mounted?

I have the prowl, the swift 2 pro sees WAAAAY better. Also have an agm 160.

Nvg10 very small view, difficult to walk, not good.

Digital nightvision is cheap for a reason. You're not really going to be able to move around with it.
