Cool! Ever thought about making something way more complex with gears and pins? I been a long time AFOL and starting to do wooden puzzle boxes. Never thought about using my vast collection to try it with LEGO

For people asking where to find bricks: check out eBay. I had Legos when I was a kid but lost most of them. I wanted to rebuild a collection so that's where I started. You will have to do some searching but you can find people that are basically selling their childhood collections, it's usually just a bunch of mixed bricks and pieces. Look closely at the photos to determine that you will actually be getting Lego and not mega blocs. Also, flea markets are a good place to search. Now, you're going to have to be willing to sort out the non Lego items because you're likely to get a big box of "stuff." After you've sorted and picked out what you would like to keep you're going to want to wash them. Put them in a large tub with hot water, a little bleach and some dish soap. Stir every now and then until the water turns cold then you can rinse and lay out to dry! It's much cheaper than buying new mixed sets and you're more likely to get some more rare prices.

Also, the mixel sets have some moving parts in them and they are pretty cheap.

I made one of these! It was fun! The very first time I clicked on this video I immediately dismissed the idea of me being able to build one because it looked really difficult! Then I decided to just watch the whole video and I saw that it really is easy! I'm glad I made one and it really was a lot of fun!
