I remember those days. When Bradley Wiggins won the first ever Tour De France for Great Britain. I remember Chris Froome his teammate back then racing under the Kenyan flag, on one of the last mountain stages attacked and had enough gap to take the lead of the tour, but his team called him on the radio to make sure that he didn't because they wanted Wiggins to win the tour. At that stage Froome realised that if he wanted to win he had to change his nationality from Kenya to England otherwise they would never let him win. After winning 4 tours guess you could say it worked out for him. But the guy had to sell his soul😂😂

If my memory serves me correctly. They got the cycling coach from Australia some time after the 2000 Sydney Olympics in preparation for the London 2012 Olympics. The results they achieved is spot on as mentioned here.

Fwiw, the same team that developed 'marginal gains ' as a winning philosophy (Mark Brailsford with team sky, who moved to the Olympic team, now team ineos-grenadiers) is now employing 'maximal gains ' as it's philosophy.
Something smells fishy and it isn't my cycling shorts.
