Meet “Anotha' 5” – Clay Gerhold’s drag car with a brand-new edge, tuned and transformed by Palm Beach Dyno for its first showdown at Mod Nationals! 🔥💪

Originally built as a Vortech car, this machine had never run with a turbo setup before it came to us. We swapped in a fresh 88mm turbo, a new converter, and a host of upgrades to bring out its full potential. While our goal is to take it to the deep 6s, we dialed things back for the 7.5 Hot Rod class to get Clay comfortable behind the wheel at this ET and speed. After an exciting power wheelie, we adjusted the launch and boosted power up top, qualifying Clay #5 in his debut race.

I have NOT SEEN a Demon 170 come anywhere near those times. Just think, some of the MOPAR BOYS paid OVER $200k for a Demon 170! But, come on Ford guys, OVER $300, 000.00. For a Mustang GTD is EVEN CRAZIER! Especially when you can buy a 2024 Mustang WITH a Whipple supercharger from a place like Lebanon Ford for $49, 995.00 AND GET A 3 YEAR WARRANTY with it! Tell me, if you give Shelby, or Saleen your new Mustang, do you think those guys could BUILD YOU a track suspension that would be more than competitive for UNDER $50, 000.00!!!
