Is there a way to display any added custom fields to the Taxonomy term listing page in the admin so they show up in the listing table? It looks like that is not a view like the main content listing page that you can just edit. We added a field called "Acronym" to the term so we want a way to display the acronym when viewing the list of all of the terms of a given vocabulary in the admin. I know I can make a custom admin view, but then I lose the drag and drop sort functionality.

Could someone please explain me why are we using taxonomy instead of just creating content types?

I too don't see this really usefull. Taxonomy are categories so what's the meaning to put image in them. I cannot think them different from just a text
