This is my journey! Everyone’s hair grows at different speeds but around 2 years seems to be the norm!

Your hair came in so beautiful. Wanted you to know when ppl ask me the best thing about growing out my gray, the word freedom is always how I describe it 😁

I never did the "big chop." I went cold turkey-my dyed hair was very dark brown-and worked with headbands and tying scarves. It's three years and I have long healthy hair that is very thick and healthy. Was the discomfort worth it. You bet!

I’m 32 and greying a little faster now but I really want it to look like a distinct, purposed style. With a lot of my hair still naturally dark for most part of the length, what do you suggest I do? The salt ‘n pepper extensions?

It took me 2 years to get my hair almost shoulder length. Like you, I chopped my hair to around chin length, but have since let it grow longer. If your hair is curly, like mine, it feels like it takes FOREVER before you get past the two-tone stage!

I love the color I stopped dying my hair last late Oct I found a new hair dresser I had been fighting white and salt and pepper hair color I'm going to say almost 20 yrs. I could've let it go in 2019 and it would've suited me I'm 44 turning 45 I'm ready for it. My hair dresser said certain parts of my hair were going 90 percent white other parts Salt and pepper 50 percent. It was getting so expensive I have no pigment left 300 dollars with the color and cut because I needed a base color with high lights. What I did was I dated my hair blonde it blended in for awhile. I'm almost at the last phase where half of me wants to cut it to the point I can stick out 3 more haircuts or 4 and it's out

Miranda, I just want you to know I did a at home treatment today on my hair that came out grey after I got it highlighted all over. I was thrilled that she brought my roots up to the same color as the rest of my hair but I was so depressed at the turn out of grey all over, but I found online that if you squeeze around 5 or 6 big lemons about a cup with about a half cup cream rinse (probably any kind would work, just not diluted) mix it up, put on dry hair, wrap in a plastic bag, wait 3 hours and rinse out, ohhhh my goodness, I couldn't have been more thrilled with the results, truly aaaammmazing, turned from drab grey to a beautiful blonde, doing the happy dance.😁😁😁😁😁😁

Oh yesss, your right good things needs patience and sometime a bit of disconfort! Speacking about patience, do you have an idea to make hair grow faster? Iam in my 5th month, but it just seems that since i stop dying my hair, it almost didn't grow anymore....
