The events would definitely play out differently. One, Ayaka and Thoma seek out the Traveller in the first place due to them being a known powerful force as seen in Liyue and Mondstadt. So that storyline is completely different. We also don’t have to figure out how to get off of Ritou. I also have a gut feeling that we likely wouldn’t have been on Narukami Island as our starting point. From a game design standpoint, we’d likely start on a simpler or friendly island such as Watasumi. It would also be a great way to introduce to the storyline. The Traveller joining the Resistance in some manner (maybe logistics with Teppei) and eventually gaining recognition. Once they gained recognition, they get involved in a modified version of the Delusion Factory after soldiers die from the delusions. Since they aren’t as confident in their powers, they likely would have support from the Resistance. So instead of Yae Miko taking us to the Narukami Shrine, we instead get taken back by the Resistance after confronting Scaramouche. Perhaps then the Resistance fights the Shogun’s Army, and the Traveller stands out as a rising talent or Kujou Sara notices the lack of a vision despite elemental powers. The Shogun’s Army captures the Traveller and takes them to the prison. It’s then that we meet Yoimiya, who broke in to break out the master craftman. We help her break out and she helps us hide. She later introduces us to Ayaka and Thoma since she thinks we might be useful to fight back. Having this motivation of our Resistance background, the Traveller agrees without hesitation. The Traveller is offered refuge in the Teahouse. Thoma then gets captured by the police and the ceremony takes place as normal (Traveller grabs the vision, gets pulled into the Plane of Euthymia, and Thoma escapes with us). This is how Yae Miko notices the Traveller as special and starts crafting a way to meet us. Having reached out to Ayaka in some manner (using the association of us saving Thoma as the reason), Yae Miko sets up an appointment with the Kamisato Princess. Yae Miko then drills us on what we saw during the ceremony and the story quest plays out roughly as normal.

If traveler started at inazuma, they’d probably not really learn anything about the outside world through paimon because she would drown in the starting point at mondstat, and since the traveler wouldn’t really know the language since paimon was *supposed* to teach them the language of teyvat, the traveler would just be wandering around not knowing what to do. At this point since the traveler would only have one element and they wouldn’t have much power, they wouldn’t attract the attention of the Raiden Shogun because they couldn’t do anything about her anyways, and they’d probably just keep trying to escape Inazuma to find their sibling and finally do it by some random method, like by raft or smth and wash ashore some random nation, like sumeru, liyue, or mondstat, and would be taught the language of teyvat by the locals there. Chronologically, depending on which nation they land at, they might save liyue if they land there, and continue on to sumeru. But if they land at sumeru and save it, the events in liyue would have already happened. Mondstat is out of the question, as the traveler would have already spent so much time trying to escape inazuma that the events there already happened. The traveler also wouldn’t have a wind glider, because they got the wind glider from Mondstat.

To make this short I think some important things would happen
First, the only way to reach Inazuma without the traveler dying in the process due to the storm that was at sea at that time would be for the star on which he lands to reach Inazuma.
Then I don't think she will fight Raiden, on the contrary I think she would be interested in the traveler because of his ability to control elements without a vision.
Considering that it is possible that the traveler has contact with some Statue of the Seven, if not he would only be imprisoned or something like that
Raiden would probably explain to the traveler that it is the visions (giving him a very negative idea obviously) that would make him not oppose Raiden's orders.
At that point the traveler would just like to find his sister but he would probably experience a bit of how horrible Inazuma was with the decree, it would definitely make the story darker.
The interesting question would be what the traveler would think about the Seven if he sees how Raiden treats his people. I don't know if he would rebel out of justice, although I don't think he would be able to defeat Raiden.
Furthermore, a possible alliance with Ayaka, as we see in the original line, if it occurs alone, would fail as the traveler would be much weaker with only one element.
As for which region he would continue on to, he is not sure where, leaving Inazuma in that state is very complicated, it could be that Raiden simply makes the traveler leave Inazuma and from there he will arrive in Liyue.
I think that would be the important thing, the only problem is that without Paimon the traveler would not know the language so, let's imagine that he manages to learn it without her somehow.
The only way the story could be different is if the traveler didn't reach Narukami but Watatsumi, perhaps the story would be more positive.

We would have never met paimon. We wouldn't know how to get off Ritou, because thoma would've never have heard of us, because we didn't go on the heroic adventures before. Which means Mondstadt would've been destroyed by Dvalin and the abyss order.
Liyue would've been destroyed by Osial. Most people would've been killed by delusions because we wouldn't stop the contract. And a bit later, because Irminsul rots, The whole of Teyvat would've been ripped to shreds. The water would rise, and the people would've desolved into the waters. Natlan would be destroyed by the abyss. Which means, once everyone is dead, the abyss would spread out to all the other nations. So Snezhnaya wouldn't even matter what would happen then, because it would be killed by the abyss. And if Irminsul fully dies before that, then we wouldn't even have a chance to save the other nations.
