WATCH Raygun's Olympic qualifying breaking battle

There should be a royal commission on how the Australian Olympic Committee selected and endorsed this person.

She was using the "Crocodile Hunter" style for her Olympic dance off. It is very well known down under. If you watch closely she is actually fighting a 10 foot salt water crocodile to the death but is saved by a Kangaroo at the very last moment. It was a masterpiece if you re watch it.

I’d say her ability to break dance is similar to some of the people you would see singing on American Idol that had been told by their family that they could sing, and clearly could not.

There is no "world break dancing federation" or whatever to run a qualifying process. The IOC approached the World Dance Sport Federation which is primarily a ballroom dancing organisation. The Australian affiliate organisation is DanceSport Australia, which is also primarily a ballroom dancing organisation.

Despite never having had anything to do with break dancing, DanceSport Australia finds itself in charge of break dancing qualification for the Australian Olympic team. So they get in contact with Raygun, a self-proclaimed break dancing expert who has a PhD in break dancing. Raygun knows exactly what they should do - partner with the Australian Breaking Association and they will run your qualification for you.

But the Australian Breaking Association was founded by Raygun and her husband and has about 20 members. Unsurprisingly, they run a qualifier that gets 15 entrants and Raygun is selected as the womens entrant and her husband gets appointed as the team coach.

There needs to be an investigation in to how she was selected and why….what a waste of tax payers money and what an embarrassment to the country, it’s no different to a swimmer qualifying for the 100 metre freestyle but in the qualifiers the swimmer dived in and started drowning…..there’s something very wrong with this
