This looks kinda promising. I'm not personally in the market for something like this, however if I can give some advice. If you developed most of the drivers in house.

You can attempt writing Linux versions and submitting them to kernel. You'll have to make sure there isn't any red tape stopping you from doing that, but it will insure that all Linux distributions work on this device for the foreseeable future.

This laptop has made my life choices a bit hard. Abt to get a Macbook for work, (since i use Apple devices) but this is sure damn tempting!

I unfortunately requested a refund for my contribution I made for the purchase of the Win Max 2. I've seen comments regarding shipping can carry over to 2023 and it was bad enough waiting for the steam deck for a year.
Also, I noticed comments regarding a major chip company stopping production due to covid19. So that made me worry GPD would not pull through and I would lose my contribution.
