I’ve had My 15 pro for 13months. At 324 cycles, the battery is 89%. This is the fasted degrading iPhone battery I’ve ever had. It’s degraded faster than my 13mini.

I got the iPhone 15 Pro back in summer of 2024 and I can honestly say this is my favorite iPhone. The 13 Mini held the crown but I took a risk especially for the bump in size and the convenience it had and it was amazing how right of the bat the 15 Pro grew on me. Absolutely love this phone. Don't buy it! When you're out in the sun and make a call for just 5 minutes or use the camera, it's over. The screen dims to around 200 nits, and the phone gets so hot that it becomes uncomfortable to hold.

The worst part: The battery drops by around 50% in just 30 minutes when it overheats.

And no, this is not a software issue – the 15 Pro just has terrible cooling hardware. I'm not the only one experiencing this; even my 13 Pro had better heat management.

I highly recommend getting the 16 Pro with improved heat management or just waiting for the 17 series.

Got my 15 pro max back in September instead of the 16 series. I love it down to every detail. It doesn’t overheat that much and the 120hz display just feels so smooth (especially since i also daily a 60hz 14 plus). Battery is still at 100% and im not missing any features from the 16 pro (except the useless camera control)

Just bought a Good condition 15 Pro 256GB from Back Market for US$650. Wasn't sure if you were talking USD or CAD when you said 'look for $900 range'. I'm upgrading from 11 Pro. Thanks for backup up my thought process!
