I show you how I create a painting from one of my own photos taken in Norfolk, near Brancaster.
I use wet in wet techniques, minimal drawing, salt and watercolour pencils and sandpaper.

MATERIALS:

Paper:
300gsm 100% cotton watercolour paper Saunders Waterford 12 x 9 inches cold pressed,.

Sizes: 10, 8 & 4 Black Velvet Brushes

Raphael SoftAqua brush size 6 & 8
(thank you Chris for this wonderful brush, I loved using it!).

Paper towel.
Salt.
Watercolour pencil (dark brown) with sandpaper.
Kebab stick (twig from garden).

Colours & (alternatives):

Quin Gold (Raw Sienna)
Cad Yellow (Lemon Yellow)
Burnt Sienna (Burnt Umber)
Phthalo Blue(Turquoise)
Ultramarine (Cobalt Blue)
Paynes Grey (Black)

I love it. I really like the way you handled the oopsie yellow in the sky. If it were me, I'd probably ruin the whole painting trying to get rid of them. I sure have lots to learn, and watching you teaches me new things every time. Thanks so much!

Beautiful, Karen! Love the atmospheric look, earthy tones and textures! The yellow blobs could be sunflowers! How about putting dark centers on them?
