Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες από το κρατικό συριακό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων SANA, τις οποίες αναμεταδίδουν όλα τα μεγάλα ξένα ειδησεογραφικά πρακτορεία αλλά και τα Ισραηλινά μέσα ενημέρωσης, το Ισραήλ επιτέθηκε εναντίον στρατιωτικών φυλακίων, που βρίσκονταν στα υψώματα του Γκολάν, και ποιο συγκεκριμένα στα βόρεια της Quneitra και τα οποία το ένα άνηκε στην φιλό-ιρανική οργάνωση Χεζμπολάχ και το άλλο στο Ιράν, εξαπολύοντας 2 πυραύλους, με τους οποίους τα κατέστρεψε ολοσχερώς, μετατρέποντας τα κυριολεκτικά σε σκόνη.
Ο εκπρόσωπος των Ισραηλινών Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων, σε ερώτηση του πρακτορείου Reuters δήλωσε:
"Δεν σχολιάζουμε ξένες αναφορές".
