My husband & I were hit by a corrections van a big GMC TRUCK, a court worker made a left hand turn & totaled my little car, I got TBI, I had to relearn to do everything, it ruined our lives for a few years & we both had severe injuries. Maybe it was the traumatic brain injury, but at one point I was hurt and I was angry at the driver but I never wanted to take his life but I was not happy with that man and it might have been from the brain injury but I was so hurt and I was in so much pain and now it's been 26 years and I still suffer the same pain every day. No revenge, everyone makes mistakes. But damn ya know, I've been disabled ever since. I live off of very little, it's hard to stay positive and it really messed up my social life & what I was and wasn't able to do with my young children, honestly it breaks my heart 💜
My children & husband hurt the most I truly believe.

Ray Wright didn't deserve to die, but if you injure someone because you were an alcoholic that got behind the wheel, you should face some real justice. He should have been in prison for a while

"I did not chopped Ray..." there you go, he did chopped him.

Why didn’t Robert/Manor (the man he injured) take the guy to court for not making payments? Maybe he would have gone back to jail for not paying and served more time. Dead he can’t pay anything.

His daughter lovingly described Ray as “accountable “ but in reality he was murdered because he wasn’t paying the money he owed that guy for ruining his life.

Great story for Alcoholics not sober or taking their sobriety seriously. All actions have consequences.

To drive while intoxicated and seriously injure two others, one of whom suffered a permanent limp, is not trivial. For someone described as being so talented and successful, how was it that he got behind on paying the $275K restitution to the victims? Did he have a plan on how he was going to fulfill that requirement and share it with the victims? I am NOT suggesting that the revenge was justified, or that his murderers didn't get what they deserved. But I am concerned that those who owe restitution are allowed to skip out on paying.

Only 18 months? Good grief. That's completely unacceptable.

Yes I can imagine how it impacts a family. My daughter was killed by a drunken idiot who drove into her car head-on on the freeway. These poor women are so pathetic to me. My family suffers every day so this story just pisses me off. He basically got off Scott free and they have not a care in the world about that.

Peggy says they drifted apart because her husband was very busy and she was also working and raising children. Yes, Peggy! Like many of us! This cannot be an excuse for not trying to fix your family life.

Well, I can’t say with certainty I wouldn’t want some revenge had Ray smashed into me and all but ruined my life.

In a nut shell Ray hit and injured someone permanently due to dui sentenced ordering to pay $275K which he didn't. Then that someone killed him. I wonder why.

I for one wasn't surprised to hear that finding his clothes and blood in suspects car was "a major" discovery

This is to be expected when justice is not served.
