I'm watching from New York. This is coming out so beautiful! I'm curious though why you didn't paint the unicorn before you glued it onto your beautiful ombre canvas. It just seems to me like that would have been safer even though you did put a layer of gel medium over the canvas so that you can wipe off any strayed drops of paint from the unicorn.
